The No. 1 cause of VodBurner issues is anti-virus. If you are having problems, first turn off the “Resident Protection” option in your anti-virus (also known as “Real Time protection”, “On Access protection” or “File System protection” depending on your brand of anti-virus), then try again.
The No. 2 cause is other recording products – e.g. Skype recording products such as Replay telecorder, Applian, Pamela, Super-tin-tin, Evaer, IM-Capture, or generic video recording / screen capture products. Uninstall any other third-party recording product such as those listed above to see whether this resolves your issue. Note: Evaer may not uninstall properly – see here for how to fully uninstall Evaer.
