   Does Vodburner for PC allow you to post your recorded Skype videocall with the 2 callers SIDE-BY-SIDE rather than a small box inside a big box?

   I am stuck on a post call that didn’t finish preparing for edit. What can I do? I see the file, but I can’t open it in the editor. What should I do?

   Hi Ted,
   To fix this, go to “Previous Calls”, then click on the call in question.
   Click “Expand”, then “Open Containing Folder”. This will display the files in the conversation folder. Remove all files EXCEPT the *.vbc files.
   Now close VodBurner and restart. Your call will be ready for editing.

   Can VodBurner run effectively on a system powered by IntelPentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz if only the SKYPE, VodBurner and Logitech 9000 web-cam software are running? Thanks in advance for your kind assistance.

   I notice that CallBurner and Vodburner are similar.

   Looks like Vodburner is more advanced and gives me more options with the recording and editing??

   Are there other differences that I don’t know about?

   Hi Tom,
   VodBurner is geared towards video. If you want audio only, CallBurner is better in that it records directly to MP3 or WMA. VodBurner only creates ASF (WMV) at the moment, and doesn’t create this directly to keep CPU overhead to a minimum, so for audio calls you would need to use a tool like MediaCoder to convert to an audio-only MP3 or WMA file.

   Hi Paul.

   I was wondering about my hard disc space and the fact that I’ve only got just over 5Gb left! How long a video call would I be able to record with this ammount of space remaining?

   Hi Nikki,
   5Gb won’t allow you to record very much at all. VodBurner won’t use the last 3Gb, to avoid disk errors which are more likely when disk space is low.
   We recommend windirstat ( http://windirstat.info/ ) as a good way to see what is taking up your disk space, and to delete files you don’t need.

    Hi,

    Vodburner displays a notification window (via Skype instant message) to the other party whenever a recording starts to inform the other party of the recording.
