Record Skype Video Calls and Edit for Free with Vodburner

VodBurner works on these operating systems:

• Windows 7
• Windows Vista
• Windows XP
• Windows 2000

IMPORTANT: You must use a Windows account with Administrator access in order to install VodBurner.

VodBurner works with these versions of Skype:

• Skype version 3.x to Skype version 5.0

VodBurner works with this hardware:

• An Intel Duo Core 2Ghz or equivalent PC with minimum 1GB of RAM.
• Any Skype-compatible sound card or USB phone
• A webcam in order for Skype video to work
• At least 5GB free disk space (more for calls of more than a couple of minutes). VodBurner streams uncompressed video straight to disk, because on-the-fly compression uses up CPU and would disrupt the actual call on a lot of PCs. This means that VodBurner has very little or no impact on call quality, but the trade-off is that it needs a lot of disk space.

NOTE: You only need to have VodBurner installed on your computer to record both sides of a video call. However to get all features for free, VodBurner needs to be installed and running on both computers.
