3. The VodBurner licensing and startup wizards will be displayed.
4. Follow these installation instructions to ensure that VodBurner can properly connect to Skype:
Skype should show an “Allow access” button near the top right hand side of the main Skype window. Click it to allow VodBurner to connect to Skype. (NOTE: If the right-hand panel is hidden in your Skype, Skype will instead pop up a separate window for you to allow access).
If you don’t see the button, go to Tools > Options > Advanced and click “Manage other programs access to Skype” near the bottom of the page. If VodBurner appears in the list, click it and click the “Change” button to alter permissions.
If VodBurner is not in the list, reboot your PC and try again.
If you still don’t see it, it is possible that security software is getting in the way. For example, Auslogics has an option to disable the Skype public API. Turning this option off (or similar options in other products) should resolve the issue.

Evaer’s uninstaller may not remove Evaer fully, meaning that it may still interfere with the correct operation of VodBurner even after you uninstall it from the control panel.
To prevent the remains of Evaer from conflicting with VodBurner, you need to manually remove the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\d3d9.dll . Evaer’s installer creates this file, but the uninstaller does not remove it.
If you installed an older version of Evaer, you may also need to manually remove the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Evaer . (You may need to start Windows in safe mode in order to do this).

Software logs are only received by us if you send them to us manually. These may contain personal information, due to the nature of the software and of the need to log the behaviour of the software in order to trace problems. We promise not to store or utilise your personal information should it be contained in software logs that you send to us. If you are not comfortable with this you should edit logs before sending to us, in order to remove personal information. Your serial key was emailed to you when you first purchased VodBurner. If you can’t find it, contact us.
If there are parts of the conversation you don’t want to include in your finished video, follow these steps to delete them:
1. Click in the timeline at the start of the portion to be deleted.
2. Click the “Add Transition” button.
3. Click in the timeline at the end of the portion to be deleted.
4. Click the “Add Transition” button. Now you have two new transitions, one at the start of the portion and one at the end. You may have other transitions in between however, so proceed to the next step to remove these.
5. If there are transitions between the two you just added, click on each one and click the “Delete Transition” button for each of them.
6. Click in between the two transitions you added, then click “Trim > Skip Current Segment” in the toolbar. The segment will show as red in the timeline, and the video thumbprint frames under the timeline will show as black (if the segment is reasonably large). When you generate the finished video, the segment will be skipped.
NOTE: The segment is not permanently deleted. You can reinstate the segment at any time by selecting “This Side”, “Other Side” or “Both Sides” in the option box in the right-hand pane. (Or click “Undo” multiple times to undo the steps above).

Skype Security Control
This is a standard security dialog that Skype shows for all third party applications that use Skype. It is designed to protect you from unauthorised software accessing your Skype application. You must click one of the “Allow…” options in order for VodBurner to operate. If you accidentally click OK before setting the option correctly, you can follow these instructions to allow VodBurner to access Skype.
