How to fix conflicts that prevent VodBurner from recording correctly

Some applications can conflict with VodBurner, especially other Skype recording applications, even after they are uninstalled.

If you installed the application “Evaer” at any time in the past, you will need to uninstall it via the Windows control panel, then manually remove the file “C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\d3d9.dll”, which is installed by Evaer but not removed by its uninstaller.  (If you installed an older version of Evaer, you will also need to manually remove the folder “C:\Program Files (x86)\Evaer”  – you may need to start Windows in safe mode to be able to do this).

If you installed any other Skype recording application (e.g. Replay telecorder, Applian, Pamela, Super-tin-tin or IM-Capture), uninstallation of that application should resolve any issues with VodBurner.  However if you find that problems do persist, we recommend a Windows System Restore (Control Panel > System and Security > Action Center > Recovery) back to a point prior to installing the other application, followed by reinstallation of VodBurner.
