How to save your interview in widescreen / 16:9

VodBurner can export your video or save to YouTube in a range of resolutions, including widescreen / 16:9.   If the original recording was 4:3, this will be letterboxed in segments that only show one side.

To do this, open the VodBurner Post-Production Console (to edit your video) and then:

1. Click on the Compose tab

2. Click on the Properties button (at the right end of the Compose bar)

3. The Project Properties window will appear (shown below). Select the desired Aspect Ratio from the drop-down list (in this case, 16:9 for widescreen):

4. The VodBurner Post-Production Console will take a few seconds to update. Your video project is now set to 16:9 widescreen and you can export via the Finish tab when ready. Be sure to select a 16:9 compatible resolution when exporting your video (i.e. 1280×720).

Note: If you have a HD 720P Skype webcam, Skype can adjust the resolution of your video call on the fly depending on variables network bandwith etc.  VodBurner will record the video going across Skype and will display it as it has been recorded.  If part of your video has been recorded in 16:9 and part in 4:3, VodBurner will work with the whole video as it has been recorded.
