Installer Issues after downloading with IE

If you have problems running the installer after downloading, e.g. “Not a valid Win32 Application”, or the installer hangs, then Internet Explorer has likely created a corrupt copy of the download on your hard disk.

This is more likely to happen when the internet connection is slow, or if there is heavy load on our server.

To fix the problem, go to “Tools > Internet Options” in IE, then under “Browsing History” click the “Delete…” button. Make sure “Temporary Internet Files” is checked, then click OK.

After doing this, return to the VodBurner Download page and download again.

The instructions above apply to IE8 – if you have another version of IE the steps to delete the Temporary Internet Files may vary slightly.
